http://www.flickr.com/photos/29843549@N08/sets/72157608581016933/ Currently, the set contains just the afternoon pics, I'll try to get the morning stuff up tomorrow. I just liked more of my afternoon shots than my morning ones, so that's my reasoning behind starting at the end. There was some dust on my light sensor (is anyone surprised?) that left visible spots on all of the pics, save for the first two I took in the morning. There was nothing I could have done about it while I was there, unfortunately. Anyway, here're a few that I liked:
Thanks Kelly. They were great paired up with the KM6's. Thanks to Graham from CPD for the tires as well. I loved the extra ride height and the lateral stability. Over driving on my part didn't help today, but I can live with 3rd in M4.
That was one heck of a fun event. The course was real challenging and was laid out beautifully!! Thanks to everyone and especially to the LOL SCCA folks for making this such a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be there next year, I'm hooked
The first half of the morning shots have been uploaded. I'll for sure be attending events next year as well, and hopefully with a skid plate on the Talon
I have a couple where the dirt is 2-3 times higher than the car. Hopefully I will have something up later in the afternoon. Russ
Woot. All 700+ pics are up. Couple of teasers for now. This is in the middle of a 10-14 pic series. Well worth the look for the whole series. Looks like it starts on page 17. Russ
Page 2...... And for my favorite 2 of the day. And the link to the rest. http://subiewrx.smugmug.com/gallery/6439319_xWDt6#408057234_LxEn8 Russ
yea that one was awesome! thanks for the photos russ! next year my plan is to throw more dirt that way I get in more photos.
Russ, I like how we both have identical shots of the Subis in the paddock and the sailplane being towed.
I tried to get more pics if you, but it was hard with the cars you were grouped with. I had to delete a bunch of them because they were so OOF from the dirt or the color was WAYYYYY off from the dust haze. Some of my pics looked like I was shooting from mars or something. Russ
Jeremy Olson's Pictures Posted over on the Land o' Lakes forums and on special stage:
In time. Spend some time in open parking lots this winter getting used to the handling characteristic and getting sideways. We're very much advantaged here in the fact that we get an entire season dedicated to practicing for rest of the year!
AWESOME PICS! I can't thank you both enough for taking and posting all of those. I didn't bring my camera and am glad that you were able to get some great shot of me throwing some dirt around. Thanks!
For a moment there I thought this was J. Latvala driving for Subaru! Ton's and Tons of interesting pictures makes a guy ponder on just what might of been......nothing but awsomeness!
