disabling DRL's on an '01 legacy?

    My mom just got an '01 legacy, and it has DRL's and my dad wants to disable them. ANyone have a write-up? I searched around, but didn't find anything conclusive...and I don't know enough about the new gen cars to know what I'm looking at :oops:

    pull the ebrake up 1 click so the ebrake light comes on but doesn't engage :p Not sure how to do it the NORMAL way.
