Well, I was wondering if anyone has done these two simple diy's.

I already did them myself, but just wanting everyone else who did it to show what they got!

Here's mines: Also very sorry for the big picture... ;P

Heres what I've done, seems to work pretty well but the inner diameter of the PVC is bigger then the OEM so the MAF sensor freaks out and all sorts of pretty lights come on the dash...Still working on a solution, but the car runs and drives great.

You should get your fuel trims checked out.
Should be running pretty lean if so.

Yeah I should, also some oil squirts out of the right breather...not sure if it only does it when the oil is overfilled, but it doesn't seem to cause any issues but it just seems strange that both sides dont do it. How do I go about checking the fuel? Any easy tricks?

    Yeah, get it tuned.

Or put the stock intake back on, whichever is easier for you.

hmmm where bullwinkle? haha The car is also an 4eat, I was asking around about tuning a while back and people were pretty reluctant because I guess theres not much more umph to get out of everything, in a nutshell a waste of money. Thoughts?

well it wouldnt hurt, expecially for how **** of gas mileage you are more than likely getting with a setup like that, with your computer trying to compensate.

This is probably true, it does seem to burn through gas pretty quickly, then again a lot of that is probably due to the way I drive. See Top Gear Prius VS M3 gas milage race.

When you get to it I'm interested in seeing your grounding set up, as well. I've heard it improves idle, exc but have yet to do it.

Also what is the with the mini air filters on the lines? Not sure if I've ever seen that before.

They make it so that crap cant get into your engine, but vapors can get out. Traditionally those lines lead back into the airbox burning anything that made it through the engine the first time around. It dosent give any better milage but it means that there are fewer emissions out the back, and we really dont care about those in MN thankfully.

Well here is my write-up of my diy grounding, just in case anyone wants to do it.

Bought 10 ft. of 8 or 6 ga. wire from home depot (before I knew that my own store carries it also) also bought the terminal connectors from there.

    Tools:
    Soldering gun
    Solder
    Sanding paper
    8, 10, 12 mm sockets if I remember right. Mostly 10

    Process:
I soldered the terminals to the wires to make for a better conductivity.

First wire goes from intake manifold to behind the washer fluid reservoir.
Second goes from negative battery terminal to behind washer fluid reservoir.
Third goes from alternator to behind fuse box.
Last one goes from engine block to the right side of engine bay.

Wherever I had the groundings to I sanded down the paint til it was back to metal.

Make sure you measure first before cutting the wires.

I will load pictures of the grounds whenever I feel like dealing with the cold or whenever anybody needs them.
