the answer is yes..... yes they do.... my bbs are now safe. THANK you rim locks.... thank you. if you dont have them..... get them.. if you see someone doing what is shown below... 1. goto trunk 2. get out spare jack stand lift iron 3. hit bastard in the face 4. tell them you have eyes everywhere.
it's off... made a little device to go around a impact and zipped the little bugger right off. the key got chewed attempting to remove the lock... so now I have to order in a replacement key / and locks (or use my little toy) and get replacement locks.
Yea it took forever before i final gave up... eerr i mean good buy those wheel locks! In stock $19.16
not sure in full... I noticed it at the shop last night while changing out my brakes. got all the lugs off and got to the lock.... sat there for a second and only could muster out a really loud " reeally??? "
I'm so sorry, but it is fun to imagine the poor frustrated bastard who tried to steal them being reallllly frustrated. lol
it's more fun to imagine the frustrated bastard getting caught in the act and getting the **** pounded out of them
Your would be wheel jacker simply had the wrong tools. I had Subaru locking wheel nuts on my car, then stupidly lost the key after an AutoX event. Went to Sears and got their wheel nut removal toolkit and had all four locking nuts off faster than I could do it *with* the key. I never bothered to replace them, since there seemed little point. $25 for the locking nuts, $25 for the removal kit, $50 that I didn't really need to spend. Stuart.
Wheel locks may work for a noob thief but do not rely on them... this was definatley the work of a noob.... I take locks off everyday for people who loose there keys. Ingersoll-rand makes a sweet tool that does not require an impact. Also, most locking keys can be removed by spinning and smaller socket on it.... this works on low torque vehicles like subaru (75ft/lbs). Consider yourself very lucky!!!!!!
