I have an 04 WRX and my friend will give me his 04 STI seats in perfect condition. The only thing I am wondering is if they'll bolt up directly to my sliders, and if all the wiring like the seat belt and air bag is the same. Also do the 04 STI seats have the side impact air bags in the seats. Has anyone done this before?

Another simple question what size are the stock 04 WRX sway bars front and back. And what size are the 05 STI sway bars front and back?

Wait, why are you removing the seats from teh sliders? I don't understand that part. Is he not giving you the seats directly out of his car? All subaru seats use the same sliders, so yes, if you are going to go the difficult route, you can bolt them right up. They use the same connectors for wiring of the airbags etc..., STi seats are the same thing as WRX 04 seats, they just have blue covers on them. Same underlying seat structure.

lol the only way to remove a stock subaru seat from the sliders is a cut off wheel.

The guy I'm getting them from got them for free too. When he bought his 01 2 dr RS the guy had bought the seats and never put them in. So he gave them to the guy I'm getting them from. And they dont have sliders on them.
