Joyful animals like Cats/Rabbits help me cope with my Depression. Anti-depressants help, but I'm slowly learning different ways to help fight it away; since my brother moved out, he brought his cat with him. So I'm stuck in the dark. I figured I'd go to you guys, before going to craigslist.
We have a standard grey chinchilla named Speedy. We are moving very abruptly and need to find him a home. If you had any interest, i could get you more info.
Thanks for the offer, but I'm sadly going to have to pass. Not comfortable taking care of chinchillas, but they're cute little fellas.
Last I checked, @Ylime has a very cute orange and white longhair kitten that she's trying to find a home for.
Usually, but I'm more of a cat person. Should have rephrased that as small joyful animals. (Not small dogs)
Sorry to hear you are dealing with this issue. It's not fun. Don't neglect using any resources that are available to you from your health insurance or your employer. Hope you feel better soon. At first I read the thread title as "re-honing". Made me curious.
He's pretty adorable, really calm, just happy to be safe and warm in your arms, unfortunately he doesn't play much, at least right now with 2 other cats in the house.
I know a place that you can get to choose from a bunch of cats that need a home if the other one doesn't work out. My gf's cousins got two kittens from this place. It's a rescue place with kittens and cats, everything is update on shots i believe and in healthy condition. If not, you take the cat to their vet and it's free.
Could you message me the info? I'd love to have that as a last shot, just in case if neither this guy on Craigslist, or Emily respond.
I would be patient.. Some people spend lots of time on the forum, others do not. Best of luck on your hunt. Cats and I have never gotten along well.. Let me rephrase, Cats know that I am allergic to them and thus try and be my BEST friend. It's like they know I am avoiding them and they try extra hard to be my friend.
Yeah, I seem to always forget most people don't no life Forums like I do. So far, no one has responded, but I'm still actively searching Craigslist for the perfect companion.
Do you not like the Humane Society? I filtered for less than a year old kittens and got a lot of hits. My fiance went that route to get her cat. I myself went on an adventure into Wisconsin to buy my Siamese cat because that was the closest seller we could find at the time. He is sitting next to me watching me type this right now. https://www.animalhumanesociety.org...pp_declawed_value=&field_pp_animalname_value=
Was under the impression that you had adults that would be able to get it since if you do live in their house they might have some say on getting one anyway. *edit* I would prob go for her kitten though, Those ears on it are amazing.
Thank you for the wonderful kitty @Ylime Apologies for the bad picture, had to snap a quick one before heading off to work.
Yep, it's a he. Emily has been calling him Walter, but I was thinking of calling him Sunny, to commemorate my old orange and white cat who died of cancer a few years back. I'm at work, so I'll think of a name when I get home and get to have some playtime with him
Anyone know of any reputable vets around the Plymouth area for a checkup? I'll spend $$ to make sure they little guy is healthy.
