Ok... i was going over the whole OL/CL problems with the 04 WRX, and it's totally killed my plans for the UP/DP install.. :cry: i've been looking around at the OpenECU approach, and it apears that the main programer on the project has been working on a quick, fix all ROM file that handles the OL/CL problem and nothing else. Perfect. But he's not openly distributing it... I'm not in a huge rush to go out and get an AccessPort, because i have no plans for bigger turbos, or even elivated boost levels. just to fix the OL/CL and be able to adjust timing and fuel maps. I'm trying to keep everything nice and legit for autocross. Are you talking about the cable that comes with the Accessport? If so, I have one that you can borrow.
I do. I have a Tactrix cable, and a laptop to go with it. I assume you're planning to use ecuExplorer with this. I plan to be at Firestone either this Friday or next (maybe both). Or we could meet up at the weekend. Stuart.
