Does the '04 wrx have a cabin air filter?

    If so, where is it? I thought I read something about changing the cabin air filter when doing a 30K service.

    yes it does and if its anything like an 02, its very annoying to do and is often left undone.

    It's underneath the glovebox. I guess there are a few screws in the glovebox you take out to get the door off to access the filter.

    This is only if your car had the panel filter option on it. If not, there is no need to change it since there's no filter there, lol. But, you can still go and buy a filter to put in.

    Alright, I'm going to check. I'd hate to have the blower motor burn out due to a clogged cabin air filter. Plus, it'll restrict air flow.
