let me know if you were there and want high res pictures of your car. Hopefully I have more than 1 good one (the occassional dust cloud killed the clarity of some pics)

edit - photobucket seems to have killed off some of the IQ and color, the jpgs on my computer look much nicer

Contingency money. Subaru pays out to the top finishers at divisional/national rallycrosses, and this was a divisional event.

I'd have been running Hankook stickers if the'd have actually sent any...

Ditto on the contingency program. Subaru of America will be sending a fair amount of money to those in each class who podiumed today. A very generous bonus for adding some stickers and showing off, "What makes a Subaru a Subaru."

 

they look great as usual. is that a "fish eye" lense in the first few? or how do you get it to do that panorama thing?

 

well thats pretty cool that they do that. any of you guys finish on the podium for your class?

 

it's an 11-18mm lens so it is ultra wide but does not provide 180degrees like a fish eye (it's like 105 degrees or something around there)

My ice race partner, Jay Luehmann and I took first and third overall (I was first) in our GC8. Amy (ScandiaWRX) Springer was 4th in M4 and i think 5th OA in her wagon. Mark (Vector) Holden was fastest 2WD and about 7th OA in his Sentra beater.

Between the Subaru and Kumho tires contingency money, Jay and I won a total of 900.00.

It's a good little car.
