I pulled out from a stop sign on 18th Ave E trying to turn left onto the 4th St East. I had trouble seeing past the row of parked cars and I thought it was clear. Obviously it wasn't and a Nissan Sentra smashed into the side of me.

I'm totally at fault in regards to the law and in regards to me. I couldn't see so I shoulld've just crept creeping instead of just trying to bust out into the middle of the intersection which I only THOUGHT was clear.

Anyways, must get to work...I have a LOT of buffing to do!...or...anyone got a $500 car going?

Yeah it does suck but you know what? I'm fine, the other driver is fine and I had only just dropped my daughter off at daycare. Today is a great day to be alive.

It could've been a lot worse...I was actually planning on going straight across that intersection which would've resulted in me being T-Boned!

 

wow, i hate when i get to an interesection and cant see whats behind huge worthless SUV's. All this stuff is fixable. Most important you are ok.

 

There is over $5,000 in damage and the car books out at a generous 4500...not fixable.

That sucks! I am glad to hear that everyone is ok. Cars can be replaced, people cant.
