    My mom's comment about it:

"You look like a doper, you ARE a doper.
You dress like a hooker you ARE a hooker.
    That's marshall law.
    Terrible."

Needless to say my parents love my car. Every time they make the 6 hr drive here they want to take a ride.

So my question is if I go on a trip there are they going to take my car and crush it? Sounds like I am never going there again. They will not be getting my tourist money. Too bad too. I used to love rock climbing up there. They have some really nice areas out near Toronto.

You can import any JDM car they don't have a law against that. Now with this whats the point.

Not sure if I would call it better. From what I have heard (my wife is a Doc) it is pretty much free but the level of care tends to be a lot lower than here.

"sir please step out of the vehicle so we can determine if you have after market parts installed for the purpose of driving faster. if we find such parts we may impound and crush your........."
    SCREEEEEEEEEEEEECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope. Universal health care doesn't work. Of course, Hillary will tell you otherwise...

What this effectively does is eliminate the low-budget weekend racers that race legally at the track. People that can afford to upgrade their daily driver a bit to be competitive in legal racing events, but don't have the money for a dedicated race car and a trailer to get it to and from the events. If you criminalize race cars, only criminals will own race cars.

And what about a sanctioned stage rally event in Ontario? They travel public roads while transiting stages sometimes. Will the police be there to enforce this "no mods" law? Some ignorant lawmaker has an axe to grind against gearheads it sounds like.

Did anyone actually find/read relevant laws? I think all this is just some regular TV BS.

    Imagine this...

Canadian troopers pull over a whole stream of highly modified street cars. All of these cars, modified for racing, have been impounded and crushed.

In other news Ontario Pro Rally has been canceled due to the siezure of all the participants cars...

well thats good to know, i was in Canada last winter with my car. I was visiting family members in International Falls and went to some of my cousins hockey games in Canada. But the guards at the border were nice, that could be cause my aunt and uncle are on the fire & rescue squad for I.F. so they have special plates on there vehicles.
