anyone else seen the trailer for this? The game now has a movie to go with it. Has The Rock in it. looks like maybe half a star out of 5 from the previews i've seen.

hehehe.... there was an article in the last PCGamer about the movie. it could be a decent movie. the Rock is plahying the sarge. (supporting role) and they gto some other good actors in it. the names escape me but i know they have eomyr from LOTR.

the First person part of the movie is supposed to be 4 minutes long and not be a loarge part of the movie. they had to change the story a bit to get it past the ppl on top. now instead of the other worldy gate to hell, its just geneticly mutated zombies. but all the Doom favorites should be there. also i heard there is an appearance of the BFG.

I could have sworn I saw Eric Bana in the trailer. Rosamund Pike is in this too, she was one of the only reasons "Die Another Day" was fun to watch with the sound off (her and the Aston). I think I heard Dexter Fletcher was gonna be in there as well. He was one of my favorites from "Band of Brothers". It's too bad The Rock gets these roles too often, he was pretty fun to watch opposite Christopher Walken in "Rundown".

might be boring to you, but here's my .02 about the rock in movies... and some rather useless information...

The Mummy Returns - minor role, good start for him; did this quick role when he was "injured" from wrestling.
The Scorpion King - horrible movie that i only watched because kelly hu was in it; did you know that when the rock was a freshman in highschool, kelly hu was a senior in the same school?
The Rundown - good movie and great cast of characters; ernie reyes jr. was badass, but he's filipino, not peruvian.
Walking Tall - waste of time; the original was better.
Be Cool - one of his better movies; the final scene with the rock doing the samoan slap dance was choreographed by his hawaiian cousins.

no, the hakka is totally different. the hakka is an aggressive battle prep dance. it was traditionally used by the mauris to psyche themselves up before going into war. they'd call out ridiculous chants like, "slap your your hands on your thighs! slap hands on your chest!" that's what they are saying in their language, fyi.

yeah I knw some New Zealanders and have known some Mauris along the way... asfter writing that and thinking about how he danced on stage it definitely wasnt a war dance... considering I am AUstralian you think I would have known better seeing as we see that dance at every Rugby game between AUstralia and the All-Blacks
