down pipes

    Hi, need some help,will a down pipe from an 02-05 sti fit an 06 sti?cobb is comming next wk,would like to use stage 2 as base. thanks

    I cannot answer your question about the fitment, but I would opt to go with a good aftermarket downpipe with a bellmouth design which will help your wastegate gases to flow smoother. Regarding the Cobb AP...I have the AP and switching between base maps is real easy. It only takes a long time (20 minutes or so) the first time. Otherwise switching from base maps can be done as little as a few minutes. Their realtime maps are even quicker.

    My 2 cents- I'd buy a nice downpipe with a bellmouth design OR just install stage 1 map until you can afford the aftermarket pipe.

    Of course, my experiences are with a wrx, not STi. (so I could be wrong about the downpipe suggestion)

    Yes, look at Invidia, Helix something with quality and a bellmouth
