In a two week "speed enforcement saturation" effort by 328 law enforcement agencies, 17,415 tickets were issued, including 11 to people driving over 100 mph. It's currently unknown what the driver doing 148 mph won, other than most probably a six month suspension and a lot of fines. http://www.kare11.com/rss/article/1034547/391/Driver-clocked-at-148-mph-by-state-trooper
I got caught doing 180 mph but the Trooper that stopped me was also the same guy I trained at BIR so he let me off with a verbal warning. http://www.startribune.com/local/218713681.html That Stang must of been modifed or infected
police cars are only factory tuned.. so if you're going 150 or faster.. they dont even bother cause they cant catch up
You can hear them report that the driver hit the stop stick just after the crash... http://patdollard.com/2013/02/watch...olice-car-with-5yro-child-found-in-back-seat/
"Police set up stop sticks and a roadblock in Indianola at Iowa Highway 92 and 15th Street, authorities said, and at about 3:15 the suspect’s vehicle hit stop sticks and slammed into an empty police car, police said. Footage from a dashboard camera of a nearby patrol car shows an officer stepping away from the roadblock seconds before the suspect’s vehicle smashed into the car, releasing a flash of sparks and smoke. The suspect’s vehicle was traveling at an estimated 130 mph when it hit the patrol car, said Indianola Detective Sgt. Brian Sher. The child was found on the floor, behind the driver’s seat under a pile of clothes. It’s unclear if the child was strapped in or how he or she survived the collision, Sher said." http://blogs.desmoinesregister.com/...amming-into-police-car/article?nclick_check=1

I watched it the night before, and I was thinking this quote was familiar. My daughters love the F&F movies.
