driveshaft

I may need a new used drive shaft center bearing. That car started making some weird sounds last night while pressing the loud peddle. I will explore a bit more tomorrow.
Just wandering if there are any on someones garage shelf's.

I had this happen to my OBS once. I was hearing a loud whirring for a while. Then a loud clicking under throttle. After a lot of bs, the front joint of the driveshaft was cracked and the little roller bearings had fallen out. Found one at a local junkyard and put it in.

 

If you do end up needing a driveshaft, I might have one. I don't remember if I threw it out or not.

 

I do have one.

 

FYI, they're different length if the car is an auto or manual trans

 

I have one from a 06 manual wrx if you need

 

As of now the ujoints and center bearing seems OK. Now I have to start searching elsewhere.

 

Man I just threw one of these out when I moved.
