Driving some foresters and such.

I'm looking at foresters, legacy wagons in manual only.

I've only ever driven a 2002 (i think) wrx and loved it, anywho I'm looking to upgrade my 2000 civic ex (for sale soon) and I need more room so I chose forester or legacy wagon.

Would anyone be interested in taking me for a ride, like I said I've never been in one and I don't expect to drive your car at all. Anyone know some stealerships that have something in $6k or less range?

Well I found a few to buy, but I'm going to swing by minnetonka subaru after work and figure out what I want. Funny thing is my wife said to go and spend more, but it didn't help I found a nice silver '03 LGT for $8k.

Has the '03 had head gaskets done yet?

 

I can also give you a ride. I have an 06 FXT. As for that price at dealerships, gonna be tough one since we live in MN. I've tried looking and ended up going out of state for mines. Lmk you schedule and we can set something up.

 

I never thought I'd get a wagon, because my wife hates them, but they seem so damn practical.

No word on the HG I'll ask before I go down there, I've been doing more research and it seems that the legacy has more leg room so i might sway that way.

I'm gonna keep looking, my wife says to spend more money and get something nice but we are getting ready to buy a house so I'd rather not have a loan or use all my cash.

I'll post up the links later, but I'm not afraid to travel and get what I want. I want a model with heated seats, etc, moonroof would be nice.

OK I drove both a forester and a legacy and I loved both, I was impressed at how small the forester felt but I'm going to get the legacy.

So people keep an eye out for a 2002 and up Legacy wagon with a 5 spd, correction, help me find one!

 

Nice. I would have picked myself up an LGT wagon but the wife didn't like the looks of it. That's why I got the forester. You looking for a wagon or a sedan for the legacy?

I want the wagon and I think I'm gonna stay away from the turbo for now, knowing me I'd mod it and well I had a good friend educate me about the motors and such, anywho this needs to be a reliable DD so NA is good for now.

I found a gorgeous '05 legacy limited, but non-GT white wagon but its in OK.

 

If there is anyone with a legacy wagon around I'd love to get a ride in one.

Also I'm looking to spend $12k max.
