woo hoo! cant wait! hopefully we can have some fun times. going to the traditional grizzley's by the mall in the duluth for dinner or switching it up this year? Here is the plan i posted from the other thread for those who havent seen it: Meet at Black Bear Casino, cruise Jay Cooke State Park from Cloquet back to Gary New Duluth (could do small groups at a time and all meet at the parking lot at the bottom of jay cooke or just take a peaceful large group jaunt down it) head to skyline for some pics etc and/or to the freeway and cruise to: Gooseberry falls - http://images.google.com/images?hl=e...-8&sa=N&tab=li From Gooseberry cruise to the Split Rock Lighthouse - http://images.google.com/images?hl=e...aqi=g8&start=0 and then possibly cruise to Palisade head before heading back - http://img3.travelblog.org/Photos/40...ade-Head-0.jpg Palisade head is the furthest out yet is only 60 miles total and is a very scenic drive. From there head back to Duluth get some food somewhere good try to go for some "spirited car activites" for those who dont want to go drinking (duluth has some impressive cars that come out to play) and then to the hotel you all will be staying at i hope we get a bigger group to stay out for later night car activities then to just go drink, it is giving this cruise a bad name and making people not want to attend. i will try my best to get the locals out if we have nice weather to join us for some fun, in past years i have had good showings of cars hoping to see some of you guys come out but the majority has been drunk by that time... let me know if you guys have any other ideas, ive lived here all my life so i forget the things that are cool to those that dont get to see them everyday and might be something to add to the list. Rich, chris was asking from the previous thread if my yellow jackstand queen would be coming for the cruise or if we'd be taking my gf's 03 but im excited that you're bringing both cars Bielke, you can obviously add me to the list, im sure my gf will come as well. ill get ahold of blackzpremacy and subynate and cassie and all them and make sure they are coming as well and have them post or let you know or im sure youll find out soon enough!
We got kicked out of grizzleys the last time we were there... So maybe not again but they might have forgot by now.
:laugh: i used to work there i know a lot of them so if we choose to go there we should be ok.
Are you ****ing kidding me? How the **** is that your itinerary? That is exactly what I posted, you even used my links. Way to copy my post word for word and claim it as your own.
Whoevers itinerary it was its what is being used and was a good idea...if you have beef keep it out of the thread, thats what PM's are for just sayin...
I'll be there... Matt, calm down man... Rich, yeah, I want talking to you, but I'm glad you and the misses will be making it to town!
I might be able to get a whole back section put away for the event at Hells Kitchen for dinner if that interests anyone.. I'd just have to check what time you all would want to plan on it for and some numbers on how many people. Some of you might be familiar with the one in the cities?
That would be cool! Never ate there... Heard its pretty good. Thats the one at canal park right? So we might have to park on the Decc?
There is a parking down there that would work The DECC is under major construction and may be more of a hassle to park at. I'd vote for Hells if possible.
Meters aren't checked after labor day, there are a few pay lots aswell. I'll run and see if we have any large group reservations for either of those days quick. Would it be for the saturday, or the sunday? I'm assuming the saturday?
You can add me to the list also. Once in Duluth though, I'll be braking from the pack. Gonna head over to Fitgers, grab lunch and fill a few growlers, then head home. How long is everyone planning to stay at the Casino? I really hope we can take the scenic highway with massive twisties I mentioned in the first poll thread. Didnt feel like MN, it felt more like Colorado Springs.
I was at Fitgers last weekend.....mmmmmmm good stuff. I might break off as well for a pint or 2 real quick.
AS I POSTED IN THE FIRST THREAD, COPIED FROM h23's plan, with slight additions.... i thought i copied and pasted it all from that thread that stated it so dont flip your lid man i had just woken up and obviously didnt get it all, not trying to step on your toes.... the plan i posted was the modified version trying to colaberate with your already good ideas and adding my own to hopefully make the night portion more enjoyable to those who dont wish to drive x amount of miles on a car related group function and just drink and party.... trying to carry the car activities as long as possible and introduce different car scene's to each other and maybe boost the moral that follows this cruise and its so far semi bad wrap it has earned.
Bill, you have to come!!!!!!! i'll cry FOREVER if you and Beth don't :mercy: lol well not forever but a tear will be shed, i love you guys!:wiggle:
