So martin and I frequently play civilization: the board game back home, but now that I'm up here, we don't get to play much. just wondering if anyone else, who's coming on the duluth trip, would be interested in playing a game, it's quite long, think risk, but way more complex.
long can be an undersatemnet depending on the game. the shortest game i have played was 3 hrs. the longest was 16hrs. combine risk with axis and allies and then add a real economy, and technology.
My favorite board game of recent times is Puerto Rico, made by Rio Grande Games. International Gamers Award winner in 2003.
[sarcastic]dude, i'm totally driving to duluth to play 5 hours of civilization[/sarcastic] lol just playing bro. I'm thinking more like partying it up for oktoberfest.
Dam, I love Civ...haven't played in a few years. I have another gig that weekend or I would be there for sure.
