Duluth Sub owners!

hey everyone, i jsut join the subaru family like a month ago and i go to to school at UMD was wondering who on here lives up in duluth soo we could meet up and do some drifting!!

 

lol DRIFTING. theres quiet a few members up there. check out the duluth firestone thread in the events section and u can see if theyre having any meets

 

me, deride, chux, and piddster r the active suby guys in duluth. what do u drive?

 

My car is too loud to stay anywhere long... but I like going sideways.

well i was just being stupid bout the drifting but it is fun. i just baught a 03 wrx wagon silver black wheels. i know dustin with the yellow wrx if thats any consilation

 

Hey man, I go to umd too, I am just a stupid freshman this year, but we should all get some type of hang outs going here for sure. I drive the sonic yellow sedan but i wont have her back til after christmas.

hey yea i've seen you round you rockin the tripple guage pod, i own a 91 tt Z so this is kinda like winter/ DD but im really takin a liking to her but me and some dude were sliding round in P lot the other nite some guy with 04 red wrx soo i hope to find him soon too but yea ill check on here daily this sub forum is a lil differnt then the Z forum soo i will have to get use to it my SN is sevenwerd if your ever on aim

 

Yea, there's a few of us up here...I'm out helping piddster with his T-leg build....

I'm still FWD, but hopefully will get a driveshaft for my wagon before too long, and re-route the cables to get rear handbrake...

if you want to learn to drive the AWD, bring it to the ice race the first weekend in January. Looks like we'll have a pretty large group coming up from duluth on Thursday afternoon.

yea i've been hearing bout that ice race! i want in... or atleast watch, i've heard a ferw things bout that T-leg biuld sounds pretty interesting... cant wait to see finished product but yea i will try to meet up with a few people up here some time soon.

 

To you duluth guys, I'll be up at spirit on saturday and sunday, and will be staying at UMD with a buddy of mine on sat. night.

nice! I've got a pretty busy weekend. just got a lot of junk to do. if you want to come over, and lay in the snow and cold and help me pull the front diff out of my 4Runner....you're more than welcome. But I understand if you don't want to

 

I can sure give you a hand. I'm pretty handy on OHV's, as I was rockin' a Jeep ZJ with a 4.5 rubicon express lift, bfg a/ts, skids and diff protection, lockers, etc.

I might have a little bit of time in between all of the snowboarding I plan on doing

The thermostat went bad on my car this morning, so hopefully I can get that all plugged together and my coolant flushed so that I can bring the sooby and not my truck!

Well I'm parked in the lot to the right of griggs hall. I saw a couple of other soobys over there. You lucky bastards and your snow! I'm so jealous, and WILL be playing in it tomorrow.

I'll look around for soobys at spirit tomorrow, I'll be there at opening, possibly even before, so if any of you see my car, park next to me!

 

jeez it looks like we might need to try and set up some duluth meets again....
