du-luth, du-luth, duluth is on fire. they don't need no water let the mother****er burn... too soon? yeah, maybe add a charity/fundraiser component to this year's duluth cruise?
Everyone is posting this pic, but it's from a previous storm years ago, November 27th, 2001 to be exact. Here's a current live view of that actual area: http://www.lsmma.com/webcam/webcam_lg.html
Was quite hilarious having customers call today asking if their vehicles were under water... especially since we are on the second floor.
I just moved here a few weeks ago, and my wife just moved here today. Welcome to Duluth I guess... Everything is a mess around West Duluth, haven't ventured much further. Our house is fine, I hope everyone else had similar luck.
WE FINALLY GET NEW ROADS!!!! (Most of you wont understand how important that is...) http://blogs.citypages.com/blotter/2012/06/duluth_floods_top_10_jaw-dropping_images_photos.php Also, take a second to check out some "Duluth Flood 2012" videos on YouTube...
Was heading up there monday thru thursday for a mini vacation and some guided fishing. Not sure that's going to happen will try and make some calls tomorrow. Best of luck to everyone there
Where abouts are you fishing? Things are calming down now.. But some roads are still unsafe. I believe i35 opened again last night
On the big lake Salmon and trout. I did it one time quite a few years ago. Going out with my son and father in law should be a good time.
Yea, things are pretty well cleaned up. The roads that were destroyed are blocked off. Crews have worked hard to get the major corridors open. Most of my life is spent up the hill, and I've been pretty much completely unaffected (other than the fans running in my basement).
