I got my car tuned last week by Shane at DB Performance. Previously I was running COBB's stage 2+ map (downpipe + intake). My mods are an AEM intake, COBB catted downpipe and Magnaflow catback. 251 was the final best in S# (rolled in at 238) and 238 was the final best in S (rolled in at 221).

I wanted to get some video on the dyno but my tires were so loud that I skipped it...Here's a few pics:

I'm surprised to see such a large difference in S vs. S#. I thought it was just different throttle curves, unaffected by WOT.

You've got it right, those modes simply change the ECU to different throttle mappings. This does apply to WOT throttle, however. With the stock DBW mappings, WOT in "I" and "S" modes correspond to less than 100% actual throttle in some parts of the RPM range (like 50-80%, in the case of Intelligent mode, and 100% in parts of the range, but not all, for Sport).

Good numbers, OP. Those '09+ WRX's make good power at Stage 2.

I'd be very happy with a ~10% increase in peak torque and hp with just a retune. It looks like you gained 8-9% at redline as well.

    How has the driveability changed?

Thank you for the correction. That is good information to know.

That's the numbers I had with protuned AP and 18G at 17-18psi couple years ago. However I only had 260tq with my setup. I was able to get more power with open ECU tune and sold my AP.

I'm pretty happy with it. To be honest, I haven't noticed much change in regard to driveability. It just seems a little bit quicker and perhaps smoother but that could all be in my head. I'm really looking forward to warmer weather and summer tires...
