I'm curious what people did at Proving Grounds or at recent track events at BIR to get E-85? It looks like the closest E-85 station is 20 minutes north in Pequot Lakes at A-Pine Shell. Did people just hike up there to refill and bring a 5 gallon gas can?

Last time I was at BIR I burned through at least a 1/4 tank of pump gas per 15-20 minute session and was going to the BP to refill after every 2 sessions...

BIR sells it, call them and verify but I saw signs there as well.

Pequot Lakes and Little Falls are about the same distance from BIR. Pequot would be quicker to get to as your not going through the main part of town. BIR should also carry E85

Thanks for the responses guys. I just called BIR and E-85 is currently $7.50 per gallon at the track. That's pretty much in line with what I was expecting. For that price, I think I can make the trek to a neighboring town.

Raceway Square gas station in Brainerd started selling both E85 and 93 on 7/5/17. It's the Cenex located 1/2 south of BIR. 17977 State Hwy 371, Brainerd MN 56401. Tel 218-454-1642, www.q-squares.com.

That is awesome! Too bad I sold my STI and don't run E85 in my current cars. I'll pass along the info though.

The internet had led me to believe that everyone who drives a brz/frs as a fun car uses E85

Ive filled up a couple times at raceway square in the last couple weeks. The e85 is still only E70 but they hope to bring it up to spec on the next load.

E70 is pretty standard for most stations across Minnesota. Being across from a major raceway however you would think they would have extra incentive to make sure they are higher then that though.

I'm thrilled with E70. There's not much point in having a flex fuel tune when there's no corn around. It's still almost 40 miles away from my house but my wife works a block away. She doesn't know it yet but she's gonna start lugging gas cans around.
