with 22t pistons and turbo the motor at low boost levels will still make bookoo power... not to mention the fact of being able to say 3.3l boxer six

POWAAAAA..... And the oddity factor. Plus that engine sounds like a pack of rabid crotch rockets flying down the freeway with an open exhaust. haha, right Chris?

^^ you have become the definition of homo, and there is a replacement for displacement, its called boost.

Your burn fell on deaf ears because you misspelled "STANG," r-tard.

first off this is pretty dang unique. secondly it will be a POWER monster. the EG33 was based off the ej22 (some AWESOME). so IIRC you can put in 2.2l pistons like say some 8:1 CR EJ22T pistons, and rods. the displacement will give you major low end power, stuff the spec c wont be able to match. also the displacement means you can spool a larger turbo faster. (35R?, 40R?)

only down side is making it fit, and wiring the thing up. IIRC the pp6 could work on this motor. but i would look at standalone for real control.

i say go light pressure turbo on the 3.3, 5-8 psi, would probably hafta have a FMIC, and some sort of timing puller

erm...the compression ratio with 22T pistons is more like 9.2:1. lol, just thought i would throw that out here. and 3.3l turbo trounces little spec c :)

I would probably have forged pistons made if I were doing this for boost. EJ22T pistons are cast.

eh, only if your going with some bookoo boost, otherwise there is really no need

Run the same boost level on a 2.0 and then on the 2.5 and then apologize for being wrong.

    :p

This topic is highly debatable because the engine that makes the most power would be the EG33, but the engine that would take the abuse the longest would be the Spec C engine.

i dunno, i honestly think that in recent everyone is going to the EG33 and EZ30 for a reason, i honestly think they can take any abuse you really throw at them

If you are going to lower the compression to 9.2:1, you will want to give it some more boost. And I don't know how I feel about cast pistons @ 9.2:1 CR with decent boost.

And Perrin destroyed his EZ30. The internals don't take the abuse that you'd think they would. It depends on what kind of power you are looking to make. If you are going to go the 6cyl route, you might as well build it for big ass power...otherwise you are wasting your time because the same power can be made with lighter weight 4 cylinder engines.

the 3.3 is a great motor, but from the amount of problems ive seen with the 3.0 (little to NONE) ide take the 3.0, its lighter, smaller, no timing belts, smoother, more hp (05+) but the 3.3 is more readilly available though. ide still take the 6 cyl over the 4 though, even an n/a 3.3 in an impreza would be wicked
