My forester could be alot more fun with this. Too bad I spent my money on presents. Motor+trans+ecu+turbos/ic+everything else is a steal for 1300. :*(

I saw that a last week but I did a research on the motor and found out that it would be difficult to swap and lwould need lots of work to be done to make it fit right. It's a good deal though and local.

Unless you go single turbo on it, IIRC? Thought all the trouble fitting was because of the two turbos and associated exhaust stuff. Or you could do RHD, too, again IIRC? I think I remember that was easier than fitting it in a LHD setup! lol

interesting. looks like a jhot swap (looks exactly like the pictures they post on their ebay ads). would probably save a few hundred on shipping, but it's really not that terribly low for a tt. I forget, '97 is near the cutoff, I wonder if that's an EJ20H or R.

in any case, would still be cheaper in the long run to start with a single turbo setup, unless you're putting it in a buggy or something.

You'd still need the whole chassis wiring harness, unless you want to do a lot of splicing wires. It doesn't look like that is part of the setup. Still not a bad deal for $1300.

you will need to do a RHD swap unless you are redoing all the turbo set up

yeah i read a nasioc build journal for a ej20tt swap into a usdm legacy. sounds like a royal PITA to get it to work with a lhd car. I didn't realize these were so cheap compared to most other subaru motor setups though, the headaches must be accounted for in the price lol
