I think he's full of it.. Most projects get started, bogged down, then halted. Just like the guy trying to put a 4g63 in a civic. He got started, engine in, once he got down to the tranny and fabbing the driveshafts/half shafts he stopped updating it.
I've seen the EVO driveline swap into a '93 Civic HB shell. 10sec daily driven! WHOLE AWD driveline, major fabrication to the rear, but it all worked. The EJ motor just makes it hard to fit into the front because of the front axles sitting right behind the engine, thus making the engine sit further forward. Look at the noses of our cars, it's quite long compard to the Civic. Maybe a RSX more likely, but not a Civic.
Another thing I noticed.. He said he had pics of the engines he can get ahold of on that webpage listed. There's not EJ22 there, just EJ20s and one EJ25.
I hate to say it but TRUE http://www.inficad.com/~bdhull/engine.html Maybe I'm kidding about this http://www.justveedubs.com/turbo-buggy-engine.htm Buggy subaru turbo engine
