Happened to me twice now, once in the fall soon after I bought it, and now again today...

...anywho, here's the story of what happened today.

Parked my car, absent mindedly let the clutch out with the car in gear while idling in the lot getting my stuff together to go inside. Went "whatever, parked anyway." Ran inside for 5 minutes to drop something off, came back out... took two tries to get the car to fire up, and then the trip odometers both reset, my clock is off.

Is this "normal" or is something buggered with my car? Check the battery (startup)?

I can also hear my fans (cooling/heating air vent ones) changing rpms related to throttle, which I'm assuming is normal..ish. Kinda like lights brightening and dimming when the engine puts the electrical system under load for startup, except not quite that big. Only reason I noticed the fan whine was because at first I mistook it for a siren on a ambulance/squad car that was far away.

Oh, and for the fans - changing where on the dial doesn't do anything for the rpm shifting I hear, but does change slightly (obviously, spinning faster) when its turned up between 1-4.
