Hi all I was replacing the union screw on my wife's 04 FXT and and cracked a crank case vent hose in the process!!

This is the passengers side cylinder head forward vent hose that suns up to meet the runner along the intercooler. This hose along with several others has become rock hard and brittle...unfortunately I snapped it trying to get the intercooler out of my way (why did I need to remove the intercooler? Because the bolts holding heat shield around the turbo are sooo rusted...we are talking mega miles on this rig...)

I am in desperate need of finding a used hose as described above and as indicated in attached pictures. Also open to jimmy fixes if anyone has a good idea!!

Sorry I could not find the part number for this item...But I imagine it is the same for any FXT or STI...maybe even WRX, all of course in the 255 or 257 series.

    Please help!!

Just go to a parts store. They'll have some rubber hose that'll work just fine. It won't be pre-formed with the exact shape as the old one, so you might need to be a bit creative with the routing, but it will work just fine.

    All -

Thanks for the help and for looking! Frogy & Subie Lovers, thanks for the help! I used Chux's approach with good success; however now I am questioning two things:

    1) The old line had quite a bit of white mucusy looking goop in it; any one know what that might be? Never seen this before...

    2) The reason I replaced the banjo (union) bolt was because I was having p0011 and figured I'd start with the small stuff...well, still have the power loss, but now I have that whirrrring sound and now that oil feed to the turbo is restored there seems to be a lot of "smoke" coming out of the exhaust...I know, I know, I just need some one else to tell me it's ture!!

Anyone have a TD04 around?! Or FP Green HTA, or VF39, or anything that will bolt onto the Fozz...

    Thanks again all!
