http://www.cnn.com/2008/TECH/science/08/11/bush.endangered.species.ap/index.html This should help create new jobs, since the funding is coming from the same agency that decides if the project is OK or not, they won't turn any project away. Bush is really trying to boost the economy before his term ends.
as far as i'm concerned, the less wild animals we have on this planet, the less chance i have of hitting one with my car. good riddance to them.
Enough. E-****ing-nough. For ****s sake, we can't have one thread where you don't automatically start spouting your inane bull**** over and over and over and over. I have no problem with you disagreeing with Bush over whatever. It's when you keep on with your "OMG, Bush is soooo evil, etc, etc, etc" that it gets old really fast. You can't draw a line between disagreeing and mindless ranting. This is just going to turn into another one of your stupid and mindless rants against whatever happens to look shiny to you, and you're going to drag the collective IQ down here again. Apparently your repeated promises not to get involved in these discussions are nothing but a load of horse****. Mods, wake the hell up. He's back to the same crap he was every other time he got banned. Enough of this crap. Every time you've let him come back he's made the same promises and every time he goes back and breaks those promises. WTF is it going to take?
Brian...without Taras, this place just wouldn't be as much fun. He's a necessary evil; Your nemesis. Your universe would implode on itself if he wasn't a part of it. We all know that Bush is the Anti-Christ. So why wouldn't we expect his administration to kill defenseless animals too? (sarcasm...)
Wrong. This place would be a hell of a lot smarter and we wouldn't have this ****. Every time he goes away the site suddenly seems to go without this kind of crap. You and I are both at opposite ends of the spectrum, but you have the ability to put forth a reasonable and intelligent argument. He's just pounding his face into the keyboard with the same arguments over and over and over, even after he's been proven wrong. My universe would continue on much the same as it does now without him. Happily. Personally, I'm on the fence about it. I see both sides of the issue, and I agree. It can be taken as the "fox guarding the hen house". I don't think the bill has a chance in hell of making it though the House or Senate. This is also the first I've seen of the bill and I haven't had much of a chance to read about it anywhere else so I'm saving any comments on it until I can.
I mistook this as an invitation to continue this off topic stuffs, I think others did too, Can we have a do over on this thread?
I know, that was one of my favorites a while back. Tux has gone on to redeem himself though. If anything Taras has only gone downhill.
What about these comments? They are similar to Taras, yet people aren't going crazy over them? In my opinion, if people wouldn't freak out about certain posts...threads would not turn into disasters like some of them do...
You didn't catch the sarcasm in the first one? Maybe it takes 5  for your sarcasm meter to trip. I didn't say anything about Tux because he rarely, if ever posts in threads like this. If he was doing it repeatedly, then I'd call him out on it too. I've never hesitated to call him out, check his posts when he first started. Taras is like a broken record, but you can at least whack the player and it'll continue on with the song.
 Great here we go again. I guess to some people the internet really is serious business. >< There is an ignore feature for a reason.
