hey well been awhile since i have been posting anything, just lurking around and reading alot of threads. well plans have changed and kinda want to get the car all set up with boost, just wondering what would be a good way for EM i read alot of stuff on NASIOC, in alot of old posts there is alot of talk about the SAFC, well the plan is to put some boost on the stock 2.2 untill we get a new motor. the car is a 97 Impreza. 2.2 sohc. i would like to get everything set up so when the time is right then it should be alittle easier swap. well i guess i should get to the point, SAFC i think would be fine for alittle boost but it wont always be that way, so i am just kinda wondering if i should just go and get the emanage with the injector and ignition harnesses and call it a day, i am guessing alot of people will say get the emanage ultimate but well save a few hundred dollars and the blue has proved itself many times that it can do the job. well just lookin for some input.
i would say swap but maybe that's just because i'm selling a complete swap http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17190 but as far as em on the 97 2.2 there are not alot of good options out there, in my opinion a swap will get you off to a better start but that's just me. im sure some others will chime in on different em options for you.
on my 2.2 i dont run engine management, accept for bigger injectors and an RRFPR, i was running 10 psi on the dyno with afrs in the 10s.
