Entering Diagnostic Mode

    Trying to enter diagnostic mode on my '01 RS. I connected the two green plugs under the dash with the car off, then turned the car to the ON position but I'm not hearing any solenoid clicks anywhere. Is there any other trick to this?

    I saw a video of a guy doing it on YouTube on an '02 and you could hear clicking every second very obviously.

    Bump, trying to debug this issue today. Are there also green plugs under the panel on the passenger side?

    Yeah there should be a second set on the passenger side. If it still doesn't work, try grounding the wire on the driver's side directly.
