Call me a tree hugger but I am starting to feel irresponsible about my catless exhaust setup that I used with my 2.5 swap.

My current setup is an ERZ up-pipe, ERZ down-pipe, stock midpipe, and Prodrive axleback. The ERZ up-pipe fit horribly and rotated my turbo enough that I had to modify the downpipe and midpipe to get things to fit.

So my plan is to get a new catless up-pipe and a catted downpipe.

Option 1: Buy a short downpipe and use the 3rd factory cat and hook that up to the factory midpipe. Do you think this catalyst works as good or flows as well as a aftermarket high-flo cat?

Option 2: Buy a high-flo catted aftermarket downpipe to mate with the factory midpipe. Any suggestions on what to buy? Something you are happy with?

Would you suggest retuning for the addition of a cat?

i have heard amazing things about the helix catted downpipe. there are pretty pricey but my DP (helix non catted) is dead sexy. thats what i would do. then you get better flow (3" dp) and a cat.

Option 4: Buy a decent downpipe, and a kick ass cat. have the cat welded in as far down stream in the DP as possible.
