Just had a set of these installed today and the initial feeling is they are great! i could instantly notice a HUGE difference in the way the car felt. The corners felt like the car stayed flat, the overall ride improved over stock in my mind... the ride was much smoother. It also seems i can predict the cars movements alot easier now, dont know how to explain it but i can feel everything it wants to do. I had stock springs on there with 87k. If anyone is looking for a set of lowering springs... i wouldnt hesitate to install these!!! this is just the first day of course and as the next couple weeks go by im sure theyll get even better!! not bouncy, car stays planted.. overall id say AWESOME!

Nice, moderate drop. Glad you like the way it feels. I installed Swift sports this past fall and I like them but they def. have a bit of additional bounce over the stock springs but I replaced the struts at the same time too. Did you replace your struts or are u still running oe?

Still running stock struts. I figured use them till they go. I almost threw the summer set up on but not after tonight. I think the drop is perfect for my tastes.. I hope after they settle it's not a big difference. I was between these and the swifts.

Thanks for posting up your thoughts. I've had my eye on the Epics since they came out and although they don't have as low a look as my current Tein h's i'm sure the ride is worlds better. Please update the thread with profile pictures in a couple weeks after they've settled.

It'll be interesting to see the pics after they "settle." Reviews on the swifts said there would be no settling and I have to validate this... i really havn't noticed much "settling" since installing them. Perhaps that will change when I throw the summer 18's back on this spring. I will say that the swifts are a bit "bouncier/stiffer" than I expected but I also added new kybs to some "half" worn front struts, a very worn out rear driver side, and a blown rear pssngr side so I think that has a lot to do with the feeling I became used to... I'd be very interested to hear ur report after installing struts down the line.

yea, i have 18's that will be going on very shortly here.. the drop is more visible in person.. for some reason my pics make it look like its not dropped at all. There is NO saggy but though which i was worried about lol. even at day two, driving gets more and more fun.. it doesnt feel like i have the winter tires on.. before it would be a squishy feeling going down the highway but now it feels like a normal tire.. idk maybe its my head haha. in a few days ill have my alignment done after they get broken in a bit (thanks hwy 100) ill update if it feels any different

I have 2 roads I hate, noble in robbinsdale, and 100n. I don't have to take 169 otherwise that would be number two lol. I will take pics next Tuesday. Maybe I'll have my rims put on!

    looks good.

university ave is awful since they put a spideweb of tar along it once you get near the modern. i put on some eibachs this summer and hate driving on this stretch with them. i'm running stock struts as well.

Time to throw a twist in the story, as I was putting the box away that the springs came in, I noticed a little sticker on the side saying 04-07 sti epic springs. So I look up the part number and sure enough they are sti springs. Now I was looking at the specs and the sti springs have a 1.2" drop in the front and the wrx has a 1.6". The drop on my car looks more than 1.2.. I think a 1.2" drop in the front I would have the saggy butt going on but I don't. I emailed epic to see if they actually did send me sti springs or if they were wrx springs in an sti box.. Hmm mystery of the day lol. They sat in my basement for 3 weeks and I never once noticed it.. Go me :(

Glad to hear they sent you the right ones... would have been a bit stifffffer I suppose. Awaiting that picture and adjoining comments after a couple weeks of driving on them.

They are great.. The only time I'm not the biggest fan is when there's little holes and uneven pavement, it's a little rough but that's to be expected with a stiffer spring. I've read that they aren't supposed to settle which is fine with me cause the drop is perfect.

well if they werent broken in before, they sure are now.. if anyone of you drove on hwy 100 this morning you know what im talking about. I JUST had my alignment done yesterday.. thanks mn... they handled the cobble stone like road pretty well i think. although i did develope a new rattle somewhere in my dash lol... i think its my clock pod but not sure just yet. i cant imagine how terrible that drive was down 100 for the guys with coilovers.
