Bought these recently. Here are pics for people looking to buy an UP or DP.

I like the welds and both look very similar to Helix UP/DP.

Now, as I have an AccessPort, plan was to not install the probes back but then what do I do with the holes?

Also, as you can tell from pictures, the UP did not come with any hardware, where can I get some? (what size/type?). I AM planning on getting the following gaskets:

UP to Turbo, Manifold to UP, Turbo to DP, and DP to CB. Do I need any more?

I will probably have some help with the installation and have already printed out several instructions. However, the more I read, more nervous I get.

    Please Advice.

I cant see the pics cause i am at work. However, there should be no reason that you are not using your probes(both up and down pipes)...the accesport will override the ecu so it wont throw a CEL. As for the gaskets, brian shorten should be able to help. Check the bp subaru discount thread.

There are a couple members on here that need help installing exhaust. Maybe you guys can get together and a couple of ppl that know how to do it(myself if i am free) can come over and kill 5 birds with one stone. toodles.

sooo.. put the probes back in during installation?
I remember reading that the egt probe in the UP can melt and cause problems?

I know atleast one other guy that would like to get an UP installed. So would you prefer to come to good ol rochester or should we drive up there?

Just having a pair of experienced eyes helps out a lot.

i could help you on the downpipe, but no way on the up. Talk to either russ(wrx1), matt(bikerboy) or nate(wrxboy2003) about installing the up. Ive had my probes in for a long time and no problems at all

its simple, took me less than 30mins to get the downpipe off the turbo when i helped a friend on this board. Heck i didnt even have directions, lol, i just kept wrenching and wrenching til it fell off. The up pipe on the other hand, i had to leave so fuji took over on that...dunno how that is done.....but they got that done without directions as well......how ever you take it off is how ever it goes back in.

Well, I can tell you you do not need to remove the turbo to do it. I have done a bunch of them and I can get them out without removing the motor mount and lifting the motor up.
