I have an EC-1000 for sale. I bought it a year ago brand new from Guitar Center for $860. It plays great and only has one ding near the output from a lead cable. Pictures can be seen on the craigslist ad http://rmn.craigslist.org/msg/4552869848.html
This is amazing. I just don't enjoy playing it as much as I did when I first got it. So it's time for someone else to love it.
I'm trying to gauge use and type of use...how many times have you played less than jake and real big fish songs on it?
Nice price on it. Guitar teacher in town is selling one for 750 in white with gold hardware. If money was easier. ..
I liked it a lot. Played nice, but I haven't been playing for a year yet, almost a year. And I didn't think I'd get out of it what I would be paying. . My Ltd m10 works good enough for now.
Yea I like playing too but, that much on something you can get for under 200 unless you're really good is hard to swallow.
I don't really agree with that. You can't get any good tones for under $200. I owned a $200 squire and it sounded like garbage compared to this even playing simple chord progressions and scales
True, i brought my m10 to the guitar place in town and they complimented on how low and heavy it sounded. For clean tones i don't think it pulls it off that well but under distortion it sounds good. Which i like to play metal style. I would love to have an ec 1000, that are so smooth.
The trick with an ec-1000 is to use roll off the volume to get more clarity in cleans and then just turn everything to 10 when you're playing distortion
