as much as i like the new sti, i equally love the evoX!

I love everything except the taillight could've be a little more better. Looks like a Galant or a Mazda6.

 

I don't like the front end. I've seen a couple on the streets and they are as pig ugly as they are heavy.

I'll take an '08 STI.

i think they look good in pics but are ugly and cheap looking in person. had love tell i got to see them driving around being all ugly and plasticy looking

 

That's how I've always felt about the interior of the IX. I loved the outside but the inside made me want to barf.

i do somewhat like the X tho, eventho I haven't seeing it in person or touching it.....but every time I'm drop off to tonka seeing the new STI on the lot....makes me wanna buy it in instance.....

edit: nah I take it back on the X comment.....they do look like an ugly fish on the front end.....only the wheels makes the car looks good....and that's about it

 

I don't like Xs, they look like a bad attempt at making an econo car look cool. I do like 08 STIs, but I don't like 08 RSs or WRXs specially Sedans.

 

I still havent seen a 08 sedan WRX on the streets...

actually I had an opportunity to work on 02subyR's 08 wrx hatch, it was pretty okay. the 4 door sedan/toyota corolla is ugly

Yeah the new sedan doesn't look sporty @ all.

My neighbor has one...it's just ok. I personally like the hatch MUCH better.

IMHO, if you are going to get an '08 WRX sedan, you might as well just get a LGT.

 

to me looks like a KIA, especially the taillight.

 

^^ That. Saw my first one up close last week, was severely disappointed.

 

I was talking with an evo X owner and he said it took very little work to get it down to the weight of the evo IX. iirc he said the exhaust alone was around 40 or 48lbs.

Although I do like the new sti a little better.

I'm on the fence with the look of the new Sti, The Evo does look a lot cheaper especially all the plastic, But It's still a cheaper car to mod and get some HP to the wheels.

 

The thing I'm digging the most is the 275 tires some magazine threw on a 08 sti with rims. No tucking, no rolling, just massive.

 

this! in 10 years that car will be the biggest pile of dog poo ever created...

honestly it looks like someone just gave up making the front look good.

designer- "meh thats about all the better we can do"

consumer- look at that sick whip!

me- Confused as to why people like them.
