As most of you guys know i have a 94 wrx motor in my 95 impreza l, i have been looking around for a while now for a full exhaust, from downpipe back and i can''t find very many systems for my year of car, yes i could get a 2.5 exhaust, but i want to have at least 3" piping. my exhaust is kind of pieced together right now and i want to get a nice clean full system. i am not sure how similar the 02-03 wrx exhaust is to the gc8 i know it's close but not sure if you could make it work. so if anyone knows of any exhaust that would work for me let me know, Thanks alot, Ryan

i wish i was as easy as to drop by but since i live up in brainerd i am probably at least 3 hours away, i am hoping someone in the forum has checked to see if the wrx exhaust will fit on the older imprezas. thanks though.

Just go to an exhaust shop... One with a mandrel bender and I'm sure they'll make you one that fits.

A new muffler should do it, and a straight pipe if you don't have one already.

look up some JDM parts places. like i think its bulletproofautomotive.com that sell JDM parts. so you can get JDM WRX exhaust made for the GC style wrxs. might be kind of expensive but will be totally unique and awsome

if you have aftermarket headers on your swap, you'll never have the deep subaru sound

if you do make sure they arent EQUAL length cause that is what takes out the boxer rumble.. which is basically the exhaust pulsating at different timing through your exhaust...

But the benefits on the equal lenght is more power rather than sound

incorrect, maybe partially true in the N/A world, but only by maybe 1-3 but those 1-3 HP cost about 600+ more dollars then unequal

keep inmind if you have a JDM downpipe you will most likely need a JDM esuast as the JDM ans USDM downpipes are diffrent lenghts.

i have found a full turbo back exhaust on ebay UK , blue flame is the brand looks very high quality, costs about 330 pounds so, about 500-600 dollars, and that's without the shipping cost of overseas, i would love to buy that but i don't want to pay that much for exhaust, oh yeah, i still have the stock header and uppipe on my car with stock gutted downpipe.
