That looks so much like the first one, from the main charicter, to the outline. They really need to stop making those.
sorry i cannot picture the kid from slingblade drifting with his deep southern accent... i sure do like them french fried pertaters...mmmm hmm oh yea and lil bow is still a little kid in my eyes... i would never trust him behind the wheel of his moms taurus let alone drifting

this might be really stupid cause they lost the main character and didnt ever get van desiel back.... maybe nice drifting clips but not the story... its going to make tokyo look rice drifting just like #1 made drag look rice and make drifting more popular then drag.
as a drifter i dont know what to say, i know i'll go watch it for sure, but im not gonna give it a high hope, but the stunt drivers are the formula drift drivers so hopefully they'll have some good sences.

its kinda hard to expect something from this movie with a history of 2 f 2 f. if what battle scar said is true though where the stunt drivers are actually professional drift drivers it might be worth seeing. i wonder is tsuchiya did nay driving fro the movie?
All I know is that more 350z, 240sx and the retired MR2 will be sought after once this movie is done. Beside, we'll have more dead kids this summer due to this movie... everyone will wannabe a drifter yeahhhhhh.

I went and watched the trailer just to make goddamned sure that the above line was NOT in this movie. And I agree with Vic, I just know the dumbazz kids are gonna be "OMFG #1 MEGA ULTRA DORIFTO SENSATION IN JAPAN!!11" and spiking their hair and such again. Be on the lookout for dozens of "Drift Civics" soon after this movie is out.
