F/S~FEELER~ Nitrous kit

Considering selling my nitrous kit. i am not sure if i wanna spray on top of my boost or not. So, puttin it up to see if anyone is interested.

-Zex 10lb bottle
-Brackets
-Line
-Solinoid's(fuel and nitrous)
-Zex purge
-Zex remote opener

I was going to use it as a push button system and it needs MINIMAL parts to complete:

-2 lines from solinoid to nozzle
-Nozzle
-Arming switch and button(i was going to wire the horn as the button or do a shift knob with momentary switch.)

I WILL GET PICS.

i had a full zex wet kit and burnt out 3 boxes bc they are a POS! it is a "put together kit" with the zex bottle, brackets, line, zex single purge kit, zex remote opener for the 10lb bottle, and some solinoids i bought. I dont remember if they are nos or edelbrock or what... they(solinoids) havent even been used yet. it can easily be ran as a "wet kit" or made into a direct port w distribution blocks.

Weird I know allot of people who swear by Zex nitrous kits.

 

i just got to see what it will take to run it threw the hydra. then it should be a yes or no

thats not what im talking about. there is a way to run the nitrous with the hydra so you have no push button or throttle trigger. juat want to know all that before i get a kit

 

i melted the programming switch out of a few zex boxes and when it came time to use the spray, i could purge but thats as far as the nitrous would go because it wasn't programmed anymore after the switch would melt.

The hydra should have a solenoid control on it and you just wire them into that. it shouldn't be hard to do and then you just set it up when you want it to turn on and off by rpm's or boost pressure. the utec has the same thing.

 

I get what your saying. On the slowmarro I have a WOT switch with an rpm window switch. If your hydra can do that it would work great. Otherwise a Zex tps switch is 100 bucks and an MSD digital window switch is like 89 bucks.

 

utec can control a few solenoids, its not just limited to one, so if you are running nitrous and meth you can control both at the same time. i'd hope hydra does the same for it's larger price tag. im not personally familiar with it although i would like to get one.
