I know very little, but it really is a good time man. You should try it out. I think this will be my 3rd year doing it, but it really is a lot of fun. Plus if you are ever looking for something to do on Sundays... pre-snowboard season I will be @ BWW watching the games with some friends. It is always a good time. Usually around Thanksgiving I have to start teaching @ afton though... so my football watching is only limited to Mondays then.
I'm always in. Let's get people that know how to play and will stick to their team the whole season please. It seems like half way through the season there's only like 5 of us that are actually playing. Maybe money or prizes would keep people interested.

I am down with a $5 or $10 buy in for the league this year. Maybe 1st place gets 80% of the money, 2nd place gets a little more than the buy in and 3rd place gets their fee back? Plus we have $100 to give out in BWW gift cards if we hold it there. But we should give those out the day of the draft..... or we could give out the gift cards for the person who earns the most points each week. We would have 10 weeks worth of gift cards (and can Koosies) to give out if we did it that way. I have a draft for another league on Aug 31st so I would like to avoid that date. Does anyone have any preference to what date we should hold the draft? Time 8:00 pm? Dates.... It's more fun when you draft together so I like the idea of show up to the draft and get a giftcard+koosie. If you're a no show, your stuff goes into the pot. I think we had 8 teams last year? I am for sure in. My only hangups may be draft time. I work til 6 in Eden Prairie and can't do Wednesdays due to club sport practice. I can for sure do outside those constraints and WILL show. I like that roster setup Sheen. I like both NFL and Yahoo.... I have used both in the past as well. I noticed some smaller point differences between my leagues but that is not a concern of mine. Do Tuesdays work for you for BWW?
Are we doing PPR? At work we do 0.5 ppr, it adds value to 2nd and 3rd receivers, TEs and catching RBs. It makes for some high scoring games. Can't we do the draft on like a weekend?
I was thinking about using ppr this year. People seem to like the high scoring matchups so why not. I'm usually open Tuesdays. Weekends work better though. Not available Monday or Thursday nights.
Weekends are shot for me around this time frame so I would like to keep it during the week if we can. Sounds like most people are open on Tuesdays

I'm thinking flex with ppr. I'll talk to Derek next week to see what we can come up with for a draft location. Draft date will definitely be close to season start. No one likes when their number 1 pick (even if it's Derek picking a kicker) gets hurt in training camp. Everyone else? What time on a Tuesday works? Also, any of these date NOT work for anyone? Just for clarification I was proposing 2 RBs 1 WR/RB Flex and 3 WR. I was not proposing we add a 3rd WR in place of the flex, I was suggesting in addition to it. It gives more value to the WR position and to wr3's/4s in PPR leagues rather than skewing the weight to RBs. Especially given the number of RBBCs in the NFL.
What are you talking about it isn't like I ended up in last place or anything last year.... and traded my kicker in week 3.... i am just glad i was drafting remote last year so I wasn't able to hear everyone laughing at me when i picked up a sweet kicker in round 2
