Farewell Get-Together

As some of you already know (but most probably don't, because I've been pretty slack about announcing it here), The Powells will be emigrating to Cyprus at the end of August. In order to keep the last few weekends free before we leave, we've been inviting anyone who wishes to come and say goodbye to stop in to The Brunswick Zone in Eden Prairie on the evening of Saturday July 26th. Trish and I will be there from about 6.30pm onwards, and will most likely be in the bar area playing darts or pool.

For those of you I haven't had the chance to meet yet, please feel free to use this as an excuse to get out of the house for the evening, and swing by anyway.

Yep, Old Chicago is *right* next door to The Brunswick Zone.

And, hey, if you can summon up the moolah for the flights, I'm sure we can find you a crash pad. However, I think you'll find I'll have had to settle for the STi V/VI, since the 22B and GTR will probably be out of reach for a while yet.

Don't forget, this place serves Fat Tire on tap. Although I find this brew somewhat lacking in the body department, I believe it has an almost cultish following these days, and I'm not above using that influence to see if we can entice a few more people along to hang out.

Hey I have an afternoon party then if I have free time I will try to get over and play a game of darts.. I miss that game

 

I'm not actually very good at darts; I've never been able to adapt to these silly plastic tipped things they use here. So, I happily let Trish beat me at darts (she's actually quite good, or maybe it's all just luck) and then she lets me win at pool. It's the foundation of a solid marriage :biggrin:
