Hello all, I am organizing a cruise from Fargo to Minneapolis on Saturday June 6th. We plan to leave Fargo at 12pm sharp and that should put us in Minneapolis around 3:30pm. We would like to cruise Lake Calhoun/Uptown, Dinkytown, and end at University around dark to cruise in that area for the evening. We will get up on Sunday, eat and head back to ND on MN backroads. Being we are a shop that caters to Subaru's, we expect to bring 10-15 Subaru's, along with ~20 other sport compacts. Is there any place we could meet up with the Minneapolis locals and have a larger cruise (and someone that knows good routes to cruise with ~30-50 cars? I lived in Eden Prairie and love the Lake Calhoun area, and hopefully we will catch a sunny day and get to see the area in its finest (along with the women). I guess I would like someone that is from that area to take the reigns and schedule a meeting spot for us to show up (a lot able to hold a group of cars), and get in contact with me (pm me your phone number so we can be in contact on that day) to schedule a cruise around the area. We plan to hit up University/Firestone at dark, but have from 4pmish-dark wide open. Anybody that wants to come along is welcome, and someone to help organize a route and be the 'leader' would be appreciated....Nothing worse that having a cruise with a bunch of people and a guy leading that has no idea where he is going Post up your feelings on being a 'leader' and where we could meet, and hopefully we will get to meet some of the Minneapolis Subaru offerings Take Care!
