Ok, I don't have anything good to contribute. But post up your pics of subarus and snow. This is what it looks like out my window now.
My pics are on my phone. I'll upload them later. One, I'm stuck/hung up on a foot and a half of fresh snow. Another is a few minutes before I get stuck. BUT, on the way home I did the pulling. Stupid little Mazda 3 series hatch stuck in the middle of the road. (Goodyear tires!) I hook up to him and drag him a block to where its plowed (somewhat) Unfortunately, no pics of that. lol My feet are still numb from all the playing in the snow.
These were taken this morning. I dont have any of playing. but i just about broke my front license plate off by going through the deep stuff
LOL...Rabbit I was scrolling down this page really fast and for a second I thought your truck had a wing on it. I had to stop and go back to make sure it did not.
I'll try to grab some later today...if I gather up the courage to venture out. We got about a foot and a half in Saint Paul...and my alley still isn't plowed..!:yumyum:
dang evan that roof one is crazy. my wheels have so much snow in them from going sideways that my whole car shakes at high speeds. I need to do some cleaning
I thought about a wash but by the time i get home it will be worse than before the wash. Our culdesac still has piles of snow 3 feet high in it. stupid plows not knowing how to turn circles
Not a Subaru, but heres some pics of the jeep taken with my new Digi cam Hey, its AWD at least...(quadra-trac )
Those pics show the new tires and the Old Man Emu 2" lift kit. Huge improvement over stock ride quality, and sits just high enough to be different. Jubella, clean them out and spray WD-40 on them. It was originally designed as airplane wing deicer. The snow will stick at low speeds but pop out when you hit about 35-40 where the shimmy starts.
This was me last night: Foot of snow, no problem. Foot and a half of hard DRIFTED snow, well... not so good. Yeah, I got hung up.
Dangit, I gotta get myself another subi eventually. Maybe I can save up and buy a wagon over the summer...hmm...maybe. I miss the RS at points like this. Heres some more pics of the Jeep.
The carrier scrapes a little bit, but it does fit...somehow. Its coming off tonight now that it looks as though I wont be making a trip to Spirit Mountain for some snowboarding until later in the week if I'm lucky.
 ...I put my passenger side front end into a HUGE snowbank last night, overdrift...ftw, nothing bent though!
if anyones still going to head out to have fun this week (maybe once the next round comes) give me a poke and I'll come take pics with my 10MP camera w/ tripod
