Looks like I'm moving back to CA at the end of May:
    215/45/17 Nokian RSIs
These are just about the best studless snow tires out there and are shockly overpriced new.
    now $180

They have 6-7/32s. A bit of shoulder wear, but I rotated them on the rim last summer so it isn't anything major Basically, one winter.

If these fit STI BBS's and have decent tread I'll take them!

    They should.
They're still mounted to my OEM wheels and are coming off on Wednesdayish (hey no rush for snows, eh?). There I'll get an accurate measure. I think they're deeper than my new RE-01Rs.

Edit: I forgot, they have a depth guage on them.
the 6mm (roughly 8/32in) is worn, the 4mm (roughly 6/32) has plenty of depth left. 1 winter left.
They have a bit of shoulder wear due to the fact that I drive like a moron. I rotated them over the summer on the rim (I had to briefly put my summers on my OEM wheels due to a bent summer rim) so the shoulder wear isn't really a big deal. No bubbles or cracks or other tread imperfections.
I'll try to get some pictures this weekend.

Ok, so they're off the car.
Had them measured. between 6-7/32nd. Got a good winter left.
Do you want some blurry out of focus cameraphone pictures?

215 is going to be stretching a lot on the STI 17x8 inch rim. The 225 already seemed stretched out on mine compared to the WS60s and M3s I've had on them in the past.

OP, bummer on the move. No more seasons for you. GL with the sale, these are great tires.

    Aren't STI BBSes 7.5?
Nokian says 7-8in rims for the 215/45/17 RSI, so they should fit perfect

    04 STi BBS's are 7.5 wide. They are 17x8 for 05-07

    04 STi BBS = 7.5" wide
    05-07 STi BBS = 8.0" wide

Anyway, a 215/45/17 tire on an 8.0" wide rim is not a problem at all.

    EDIT: Ninja'd

Number jockeying, no. Having owned that tire and many more I can tell you that the RSI's really needed to strech to fill my 8 inch rim compared to any other winter/summer tire. That's all I said... never said it didn't work.

Once I hear from the bank tomorrow about getting Jack's car I'll shoot you a PM. These would work great for the new wagon :)
