How much can I get for my 03 wrx trans, 1st gear whines like a dog box? don't know why. other than that it is in decent shape considering it is a wrx tranny. I just don't know if it can take all my abuse so I'm looking at a built one. So how much would something like this go for? with the stock clutch too
How many miles are on it so far? Any other issues like grinding gears (bad syncros) or decel noise? I don't think the clutch would be worth much, usually it's just not worth the labor to put in a used clutch. The transmission price really depends on condition. If there's something wrong with first gear, then it could be a few hundred maybe. Searching on nasioc would give you a ballpark what other people are asking for theirs.
