i plan on rolling my fenders this year , i have a heat gun.....and know there are a few guys with fender rollers on here that will rent theirs out so......

does anyone want to plan a day to get together to share cost and have an extra set of hands rolling theirs?

also if anyone has done this before maybe they could show up as well

thanks , and let me know if interested in planning a roll day and i will look into getting a roller and try to set this up

that would work to , just need a hand keeping some heat on the fender while rolling

If your paint cracks at all, even if it is minor, repair it asap. I didn't think it would be a big deal when mine were rolled and now rust is eating all 4 fenders

^^ I would think. Anything is better than nothing. Just keep a close eye on it and if it starts to rust fix it before it's too late. (or too spendy)

I just rolled my kids fenders on his 93 legacy. No paint crackage, used a heat gun and a fender roller. Just took our time 1/2 hour on the drivers side and 45 minutes on the pass side (I think there must be some reinforcement of some kind on the pass side with the fuel neck there...was a little more stubborn). But we measured and believe we picked up and extra 3/8" on each side, which for him running +38 offset 17" wheels, was all he needed.

PM me when you guys are doing this. It sounds like a good option for the Mini Meet forum.

Sounds like a good idea. Definitely interested. How many hands is too many? Is ~hour/car typical?

got a pm back from aspitfire(SP) , its a go , the dates i have posted will work for me , but anyone who may have a conflict can add input on a day for this , he rents it for $20/day/car , but said he could do a group discount , so it may end up being a little cheaper

need to pick a date that works for those interested , and come up with a suitable location....suggestions

also , can a mod move this to the events/mini meet section , thanks
