I had a slow batch that I just bottled right before thanksgiving. Completely flat after 2 weeks. Usually 2 weeks is good. They're starting to get a little better now after 4 weeks, I check one every week until they're good.

    Depends on a few things...

-Temp of the storage area for bottles. Like Mars said, 70 is good, and means quicker turn-around
-Temp that the carboy was in. I find that my lagers which for the 2nd fermentation sit around 40 degrees can take up to a month to bottle carbonate.

With that said, on ale's i'm typically good by 2 or 3 weeks. Lagers it's 4 to 5 weeks. Bottling ftl.
