I've seen it being passed around on news aggregate sites again, so I'm pre-emptively placing this out there before someone links to it and goes "OMG, THIS IS AWESOME, BUT I BET THE OIL COMPANIES KILL HIM AND DESTROYS THE TECHNOLOGY SO THEY DON'T LOSE THEIR FOOTHOLD ON AUTOMOBILES." HHO and Water Powered cars don't work. They will never work. No matter how much money you toss at it. I have links that I will dig up to inform you about the chemical process they are talking about with regards to HHO and post them later. But basic chemistry explains why water powered cars are false and impossible. Every few months some guy says he can run a car on pure water. People dump money into his 'invention' in hopes that it's the next big thing. And it goes nowhere....why? Not because the big 3 and Big Oil silence them. It's because it's impossible and the guy that said he could do it is now lying naked in his bed full of your investment dollars, masturbating himself to climax thanks to your stupidity. Thank you for your time.
Below is a little blurb written by a man named Tom Napier. Read it. And also, go look up a basic physics and chemistry site for kids about "The Laws of Thermodynamics" and read those too. There is no free energy, you can't make more energy than you consume, no matter how many mason jars full of water you attach to your alternator.
The cliffs is this: 1) The Laws of Thermodynamics state that energy cannot be created or destroyed, and that the total amount of energy put into the system is the total amount of energy you will get back out of the system. The total amount of energy in the universe remains the same. This law has never been broken, no matter how hard anyone has tried. 2) The amount of HHO gas you can produce using your alternator isn't enough to make any noticable amount of change in the combustion process and therefore is a complete hoax/scam. 3) If, after reading the above, and having a very basic (gradeschool) knowledge of the laws of thermodynamics, you still think HHO/Brown's Gas will increase your gas mileage or that you can run cars on water, you're a retard.
I approve of any post that contains balls. The word, that is. I don't need to see pics of Tom's junk.
I don't have the time or IQ to read the whole thread, so I'm going to throw my knee-jerk reaction out there: SOMEONE FIGURED OUT HOW TO RUN CARS ON WATER?!? OMFGBBQ! BIG OIL'S GONNA KILL HIM AND DESTROY IT! I NEED TO BUY ONE NOW!
Jay Chen wrote a big article in SCC about the bunk that is Brown's gas. Most people are not capable of analyzing the idea themselves, so they say "sweet idea. I'll pay $39.95 for it."
While HHO is friggin retarded and energy negative, This isn't EXACTLY true. Nuclear fission and fusion turn a small amount of matter into pure energy. Just sayin'
Well, no. Those are just chemical reactions where a heavy element splits in to a smaller element (or vice versa). They don't defy the laws of thermodynamics at all as the energy released is just changing forms from being stored in the atomic bonds to being expended in the reactions.
