Hey everyone, my name is Brandon. I grew up in Fergus Falls, MN; loving everything with an engine. I'm excited to be able to connect with other gearheads/subie fans, learn things about the cars, and go to events with people who are as enthusiastic as I am about this stuff...
Welcome to MNsubaru , Brandon! Home of the good tech writeups , eye candy, and lets not forget the tomfoolery. We have local tuesday night meets in the summer time at boom island when the weather is cooperative as well. You joined just in time to sign up for our annual LaXcruise 2015 at the end of the month if you're available! hope to see you around! http://mnsubaru.com/threads/2015-laxcruise-saturday-june-27th.48738/
My family has a lake place up there, surprisingly good sized scene up there last I knew. Welcome to the site.
We are a great group of guys here that Ive figured out from being on here since mid march. So take a look on the forums and chat with everyone
Thanks! So far, this is what's all on the car: -Invidia Divorved/Catted Downpipe -Invidia Q300 exhaust -Perrin lightweight crank pulley -Perrin alternator cover -AEM CAI -Tanabe adjustable front strut tower bar -Cobb AP v3 with Stage 2 map -Debadging front and back -Front grille mesh insert -Rally armour mudflaps -Got a set on 17" Motegi rims w/Blizzaks for the winter too... My next steps for the car are to get some suspension done, as I've recently gotten back into the AutoX scene with MAC; and loving it. I used to do autox down in Iowa with my old 07 wrx, but haven't been able to do it the last couple years with a deployment, and school... So, anywho.... sway bars and endlinks are hopefully next. I'll try and get some updated pictures of the car once this rain goes away!
Really? I haven't been back up there for a long time... I've had quite the eye opener as to just how many subaru fans there are around here! (the twin cities)
Yeah, we've had a lake place on Wall Lake for 15 years or so. I used to meet up and BS with some of the guys up there during the summer. Lot of Hondas from what I remember, but a few other quick cars and sport bikes as well.
Oh sweet! I spent a lot of time out there as a kid. A friend of mines' folks still live on Wall on the north side off 210...
