After looking for a few months I finally bought my first Subaru!

Yesterday I picked up a one owner, very clean, bone stock 05 LGT Limited with 52k on the odometer. I snapped a few pics with the phone, but will post some better ones when I get some free time.

    Let the fun begin!

And here I thought I was the only 2005 with such low miles (I'm at 51,xxx)...automatic too and same color. Be prepared to take some heat for not having a stick.

Yeah . . . I wanted a stick, but since the wife is preggo and will be driving it occasionally I chose not to fight that battle.

Please explain, I am fairly mechanically inclined, but what is the issue here?

There is a filter or screen that is installed in the banjo bolt that supplies oil to the turbocharger. These are known to clog over time and starve your turbocharger of oil causing it to fail prematurely. Do a couple searches at LegacyGT.com and someone will have a how to for it.

That and Go stage 2 and get a tune before you get some burned valves(misfire) like myself, which is the main reason why I'm running on corn now. It had burned valves at roughly 60k which yours is approaching.

Stock tune is bad for our cars

Don't really need that, just shop for a downpipe and up pipe and a couple of gaskets and get a tune from any local shops here and the car should be fine after that. About $700 or so for all the parts and tune

Just save your money and get an open source tune. Much better than the of the shelf Cobb tunes.
