After having my first Subaru for about a year and a half I have finally joined the site. I have a 98 Legacy Outback 5 speed that is pretty much stock. It has given me quite a bit of trouble since I got it (like the seized rod bearing that takes the top spot) earning it the nickname "the car from hell." But it has been a lot of fun too, I love taking it out and playing in all the snow we've been getting.
I'm trying to learn to do some of my own work on the car and when it warms up, if the budget permits, I'm hoping to do a few more repairs that I have been putting off and maybe even start doing a few modifications. So I might come looking for suggestions and have some questions then.
For now I just wanted to say hello.

I like the 5spds. It helps the WRX a bit. Much more fun to drive. An LSD for the back helps a lot
